In this tutorial Alex Gomez shows character face sculpting with Zbrush 2021 based on characters designed by designed by Kevin Keele.
The video is a timelapse but you can learn a lot from it anyway. Alex shows:
- Sculpting the base mesh using Dynamesh. Here he uses brushes like ClayBuildup, Move and Pinch to create a stylized look and feel.
- Then he is increasing the resolution to add more details with brushes like the DamStandard e.g. adding wrinkles for the eyelids.
- With the Snakehook and the Pinch brush stylized hair and the beard are sculpted.
