In this short Blender tip I show you how to convert meshes / edges into curve and then how to sculpt upon these.

I used a plane and deleted 3 vertices from it to get a single vertex, which is my starting point for the edge I wrap around an object.

After recording the video I saw that there is a nice timesaver to create a single vertex: The addon Extra Objects which is part of Blender 2.7 :-)
